The first footprint of the company was set in the year 1998 as SHREEJI ELECTRICALS at Surat, Gujarat, India under the visionary leadership of Mr. Alpesh N. Mevada (B.E. Electrical) with the sole intention of providing exceptional quality services in the field of Electrical Engineering. Moving ahead in 2003, Shreeji Electricals secured its first biggest achievement, class 'A' approval as an electrical contractor with Road & Building Department of the Government of Gujarat.
Under Mr. Mevada's well-founded leadership, the company was set forth for greater triumphs with the expansion of business framework in electrification of government administrative buildings, hospitals, educational college buildings, road lighting works, 66KV substations and pumping stations.
Along the timeline of 15 years, Shreeji Electricals transformed into MECTECH PROJECTS PVT. LTD. with the vision of expanding in the field of electrical work and opening new horizons in the field of mechanical engineering work.
Along with Mr. Alpesh N. Mevada, the credit for the foundation of this new venture is honored to Mr. Falgun V. Mevada, a dynamic entrepreneur, who is a Gold Medalist in M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering. Since then, the company has been climbing the ladders of success in the field of LT and HT Electrification Work, Extra Low Voltage Work, Fire Hydrant Work, Industrial Work and HVAC Work.
